I admit that I haven't been as much of a follower of the Blackhawks as I used to. Back in the early to mid-90's, I was really into it, when they had guys like Roenick, Chelios, Belfour, and Amonte. I remember their trip to the '92 Stanley Cup Finals, only to get swept by the Penguins. BTW, that series was very competitive, despite the fact that the Hawks lost in 4 games. They lost all games by total of 5 goals (4-3, 3-1, 1-0 and 6-5). Ever since their cheap [******] owner, Bill Wirtz, started letting the big names go, I kinda drifted away from hockey in Chicago. :angry: I do still watch hockey, off and on, but not as much as I would, if the Hawks were any good. The main way that I keep with hockey is by playing NHL 2k5. I love that game, but that's for another forum. :lol:

The B'hawks have been making some pretty decent moves in the off-season already. They picked up goalie Nikolai Khabibulin, which is a good start. I am very interested to see what this upcoming season brings.
