The paper describes his longtime girlfriend as a "perky blond." I'm not sure that even perky people want to be described that way. It's a small wedding, so I am sure you are not invited. If you want to crash, the article says that the wedding will be this Saturday at the One&Only Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I've never been there, but understand it is fabu. And men, it says that Eli proposed to his future bride during a quiet evening at home. Bor-ing. If you are wanting to propose to someone you want to spend the entirety of your life with, the proposal needs to be better than a boring house proposal. (author disclosure: My husband rocks. We got engaged in New Orleans. The proposal was romantic. Yes, tasty beverages were consumed before and after). At this point, you don't have to be one of those commenters who leaves the "so what" message. You don't really have to tell me that Eli Manning's wedding isn't really sports news, or that you don't care about the proper way to get engaged with someone. I don't really care either, but some people do, so here it is, along with a gratuitous picture of the shirtless single Eli Manning for those who care about that sort of thing too. Different people are interested in different things. If everybody liked exactly the same things, it would a very boring, overpriced world.
