Whatifsports.com calls East for the Cowboys

One of the most entertaining sports Web sites out there -- Whatifsports.com -- is in the midst of a series to predict each team in the NFL's 2008 record.


And the computers over there have the Cowboys winning their second straight NFC East title. Here's what the Whatifsports machine spit out:

Cowboys: 12-4 Giants: 11-5 Redskins: 9-7 Eagles: 8-8

Yes, that's the same order the teams finisbed in last year. The description goes on to rank Zach Thomas as the squad's most significant newcomer, Martellus Bennett as the fantasy sleeper and says balance is this team's strength.


The only loss projected is in New York, while three other games seem to be toss ups -- the ones in Washington, Pittsburgh and Cleveland. That makes the "absolute record" 15-1, but each mark is adjusted to allow for the upset, the freak game, or the bump in the road. Here's some more on the Cowboys. ...

The Cowboys better make it to the SuperBowl this year. They have tons of talent and if they don't it won't look good for Jerry Jones and the team heading into their new stadium

I say they will have an ok season 9-7. No playoffs. I just don't feel that Tony Romeo can take them to the playoffs.
