Davis had a monster preseason and was a hot sleeper on draft day thanks to Jamal Lewis' declining play. But Davis got into a minor car accident before Week 1, fell way behind Jerome Harrison on the depth chart and struggled with the shoulder injury. The exact nature of the injury is unclear right now, but Davis clearly had a setback. RB Chris Jennings was signed off the practice squad to take Davis' spot.
