The police report did not release any names, but several sources tell the Cleveland Plain Dealer that the suspect is Edwards. According to police, the suspect was arguing with nightclub promoter Edward Givens. The suspect then punched Givens with a closed fist on the left side of his face. Simple assault cases like this are not investigated by police, so it's up to Givens to file a complaint with the city prosecutor.
