GAME TIME: Tues., Oct. 6, 2009 @ 5:07pm et (TBS) @  Talk about the tiebreaker game to decide who wins the American League Central division title and who has their season come to an end between the Detroit Tigers and the Minnesota Twins here. The winner moves on to face the AL East champion, New York Yankees in the ALDS. |

So far, it's a tight one taking place in the good ol' Metrodome. The game is tied at 4 in top of the 10 inning. Tigers now 5-4 in the bottom of the 10th, but the Twins are threatening with a runner at 3rd with 1 out. Edited by WC Jerome, Oct 6 2009, 07:55 PM.

 I guess you're right. The South Siders did play a part in helping the Twins get to the playoffs.

Yup... Down two games in the standings with three games left. White Sox win two of three in Detroit and the Twins sweep the Royals. I hope the Twins fans are happy this year with all the complaining they did on another board last year after the White Sox won the A.L. Central last year. |
