The deal has been reported by Jay Glazer and Adam Schefter and according to Glazer, it voids to five years if Crabtree has great years in two of his first four seasons. If Crabtree fails to reach the production trigger, the sixth year pays him only $4 million. It will take time for Crabtree to get up to speed in a pro offense; we wouldn't rush to the waiver wire to pick him up. Don't expect an impact for weeks, and don't expect fantasy starter production all year. Singletary was'n gonna back down, regardless. Having said all that, this will eventually make them an even better team.
